a fancy word for "pretty face" or "talking head".

It was one of those cackling morning show "bits".

That's what gets him paid. 

Journalist makes him sound like he's Walter Cronkite.

Why does anyone watch this tripe?  I can honestly say I've never watched the K family and don't intend to.  There are good people in the world and I don't see wasting my time on this "family".  I guess if there's nothing better to do and you like it, it's fine, but it is definitely not for me.

LOL, of course people watch it.  I'm not interested in any show like that.   I was shocked to find out my sister loves Duck Dynasty, Really?   

I like Halmark movies, but I'd never read a romance novel. Different strokes.

I don't have cable  so I can't watch Cait but I find his story fascinating.  He was such a big deal before the kardashians.    I hated him when he left his 1st wife.
