I would be loving on that dog the entire flight if he were next to me. I have never been close to a dog on a flight. I wonder how they tolerate it. Do they get nervous? They might be a bit confused I would think.

While I'd love  sitting with that gorgeous dog, Once I sat next to this amazing woman who was going back to New Zealand. She had been in the States studying agriculture for her flower farm. We talked the Beatles, politics and life in general. Her name was Jenny. We hugged goodbye, and wrote each other for quite some time. And then the letters stopped.

I can't imagine putting any living creature into the cargo hold, especially these heroes.
