Cold front coming through Albuquerque even as we speak. High today 84°, tomorrow 62°.  Meteorologist say we'll see no more 80s.  Snow in the mountains at high elevations.  Leaves definitely changing.

Thank goodness it (summer) is over.

I hear ya. I'm in Arizona and we can finally go outside and enjoy the cool mornings and evenings. The afternoons are still a bit warm but the 80's are coming.

@Kachina624   Here in Phoenix, FINALLY DROPPED TO 99 TODAY (first time out of triple digits SINCE MAY!)  Now, the temps will drop, just like you describe, to the 70's this weekend.  

I can FINALLY REMOVE MY BLACKOUT SHADES from my windows (I have wrap-around panoramic views...a lot of windows) that I cover so the blistering heat doesn't permeate my apt and reduce the effectiveness of the A/C.

GLORY HALLELUJAH!  I'm so EXCITED!!

@pdlinda.  Isn't it wonderful?  We'll have high winds tonight and good chance of rain before week's end.

@Kachina624   YES, they are saying we can expect some rain here too!  I don't think I even remember what rain "looks like" but I'm happy my memory will be refreshed!

I have about 4 PJ outfits from Stan Herman from YEARS AGO that are still in prime shape, so I can't wait to drop those in the wash and prepare to wear them in these cool, glorious temps!

It's still relatively warm here in Colorado Springs for this time of year. Usually we get the first frost warning around the first week of October but jeez my thermometer was reading almost 90' last week. I couldn't believe it. Temps are starting to come a bit but they are still above normal.

Thank God! In NE Florida, mornings have been in the low 60's. Afternoons in the 70's low humidity. It is nice to sit outside. The high will be in the 60's on Thursday which is unusual for this time of year. Yeah! My dogs are loving the weather.
