Finally, A Beautiful Day!!

The weather here in my neck of NE PA has been below normal and the nights have been in the low 40s sometimes in the 30s. My furnace has kicked on during the night.

Yesterday was nice but today is spectacular. Blue skies, light breeze, near 80. All the windows are open. The outside stray cats are happy as clams. Our orange boys are sprawled in the sun.

Tuesday and Wednesday are to be close to 90 and humid. Guess what, as much as I hate high heat and humidity, after the winter we had, I won't complain.

Enjoying the beautiful weather in SE PA! Nice little breeze too. I planted my tomatoes yesterday in anticipation of the warm week. It's looking rainy for Memorial Day weekend, but we'll see. We do need the rain.

In Albuquerque...

Sunny, breezy, 74 degrees, 9% humidity.

We've had a bit of a heat wave -- 80s and 90s -- after a glorious first week of May with temperatures ranging from 57 to 77.

I like 57 to 77.

We have had the beautiful spring weather a month ahead of you. Gorgeous blue skies, and cool days. We are in the 90's for now. I think we have one more "cool" down next week, then summer will stick around until September!

For the most part, weather has been l-o-u-s-y! LOL! We have had frost on several mornings and we have had cold, rain, wind, etc. I love spring and have been so disappointed in this! Yesterday was nice! Low 80's and dry and SUN! Yes -- where have you been! Today it is supposed to be in the low 90's --- which is too hot, too quickly. I mean, we seem to do this every spring. It's so cold -- like 40 degrees and then it just blasts into hot weather! No breaking in or happy medium before we get really hot and humid weather! ~ Whew ~. Well, I tell myself --- NO SNOW! This is 100% improvement!
