That 14 days is too little?   Or that 14 days is too much?

Countries that use caning as punishment  such as in Singapore have much less criminal repeat behavior.  There are different levels of caning in Singapore  and specific rules as to how the punishment is used. I’m totally  for caning for corporal punishment. I think it would clean up our  messed up system of punishment that is broken.

It's not the cushy place the media is making it out to be. I used to live near the Santa Rita jail and had a neighbor who spent some time in there. It's not club med.

I think she has been totally humiliated and the crime cost her financially...should be enough unless she repeats.Jailtime just costs the taxpayer and serves no purpose for non violent criminal acts.IMO
