My mail takes too long to get to me. I've posted about this before. For some reason I don't mail until very late. Usually around 8:00pm. That includes packages other then Amazon. It gets increasingly later during the fall and winter. By winter, the postman carries a flash light. The latest I've every gotten was delivered by 10:00pm. The earliest (during the summer) I've gotten was 3:00pm.
Never had a problem with Amazon. They must have a warehouse in our state. Everyday items I order and get the same day. Unlike the USPS. it comes during daylight. Or I find it sitting on my porch early the next day.

I think Land's End has been having hiccups lately. When I ordered two weeks ago it took them two days before they even acknowledged my order.
I always try to shop the physical store first, since I'm fortunate to have one close by, but their petite dept. is so small, and the men's dept. even smaller and seems most things carried are a size small.

My issue is my stuff has shipped, but it's sitting 'in transit' with every single delivery service. So far I am late with USPS, DHL, and Fedex with five orders and a sixth order for my employer which is Amazon. No one can keep up. And most of them are going to dump on the USPS as end game.
None of my Black Friday stuff is here yet and I'm going on week three. One I actually paid almost $20 for shipping and two and half weeks later, I still have no delivery date.
For me it's not the retailers, it's the delivery people which I completely understand are overwhelmed, but they need to start being honest about shipping times with retailers and customers like us who can make an informed decision as to whether or not we want to spend a month tracking our packages.
I usually buy nothing after Black Friday that has to ship, but thought I would try it myself this year to take advantage of the sales. Never again. I am back to ordering nothing by mail after mid November. They simply can't handle it.

@joco728 wrote:It is so frustrating when you place an order and it says "packaging" immediately where you cannot cancel if you change your mind and then it takes 2 weeks before you receive the item. One is coming from the next state over. This has happened twice with me...one with HSN and one with QVC. I'm still waiting for the items...delivery dates keep changing. I order craft supplies from the UK that I receive in five days! I'm done!!
@joco728 i seldom order anything i need right away and arrival within reason makes no difference on most shopping networks most of our orders are amazon prime
