My favorite is a picture of a woman in a 1970's era orange polyester pantsuit with the caption reading "I was never meant to fly coach". And I don't.

This is me! I hate anything hanging on the front or side of a fridge. It makes the kitchen look cluttered and messy.

When my kid was little, I'd put his art and school work up there, as showcasing his achievements was more important than tidiness at the time, but boy was I glad when he was old enough for that to stop!

The only think that ever hangs on my fridge is a small magnetic note/list pad on the side and it coordinates with the season or the kitchen decor.

I can't use fridge magnets because my fridge is customized with wood panelling which matches the cabinets. It was like that when I bought the place.

For messages, business cards, reminders, etc., I have a framed cork board hanging on a wall in the kitchen. Keeps the clutter confined and I don't miss the magnets, either.

I have those solid shaped colored magnets like arrows and stars to hold papers. I use the what I call colored gingerbread people to hang calendars and receipts for the week and for decoration I have fridge magnets of famous art paintings from museums we have visited decorating one side of our fridge. My kids when they visit us, like to turn a few upside down and they wait to see how long before I notice this! Hehe.
