I like a great many foreign films, not wild about subtitles or dubbing, unless done well

But I have seen some jewels..A few from France, I think one was called My Father's Castle or something like that..It's a long time ago, but it was a gentle look at life in a past era

I like things made in the UK and OZ...A Christmas favorite is called The Box of Delights( U.K.) and it was shown on pbs when my kids were just tweens or young teens...it still holds up well ,even though the special effects nowadays, are far superior to these
