All those names and I have heard of only 2 of them. Our tastes in music are a world apart. Hey, enjoy that music.

I have no clue who would be the TOP FIVE because I love so many.  Each generation has their greats as does each category.

@Jordan2 apologies for the short thread hijack

@hckynut Die hard Flyers fan here. My (late) Dad had season tickets to all of the Philly sports teams. My brothers were not interested in hockey, so he took me to the Flyers games, taught me everything about the sport. One of my first "Flyers" memories (I was pretty young) was Dad telling me to keep an eye on the Center, #16, that he was going to be great someday. Woman Very Happy A pic of me on my Dad's shoulders was in one the the Philly newpapers when they won the cup in 74.

@FlyersGirl

Lucky you and your brothers lack of interest in this great game. I remember when the the Flyers entered the NHL and many of the Great players your city had the good fortune to see play. A few of them played for Freddie with our CHL team, the Omaha Knights.

Always loved it when Kate Smith was there live to sing "God Bless America", still gives me the chills when I hear it. Didn't know I was communicating with media celeb. Bet that meant and still means a lot to you. Did your dad(sorry he has passed)keep a copy of that picture for you?

Freddie had lots of quotes, many even his players didn't understand. I always liked "always arrive in ill humor", he had it for many facets of the game.

Hey, thanks for sharing your memories.

In no particular order:

Steely Dan

George Benson

Santana

Johnny Mathis

Tony Bennett

Barry Manilow

Bette Midler

There are several more but I don't want to go over the limit...well not by many.
