No question about it. THANKSGIVING. It has always been a very important holiday in my family. It's a holiday that is all-inclusive. It doesn't matter where you come from, no matter what your religion, your race, your income, or your age, Thanksgiving is for everyone. It's a chance to show our gratitude for the abundance of our land and the generosity of our people...and the food is SOOO good!

I have to agree with Vivian about Thanksgiving. Every year my DB in New England opens his beautiful home to family and friends. All that can come are welcome. Every year it can be different with the addition of new babies, deaths of those dear to us, and new neighbors, boyfriends, etc. We actually have the large meal on Thursday but those that have to work on Friday, may come Saturday. Each day is different and the leftovers are as grand as the scrumptious feast. He does one turkey in his grill and one in a roaster. Leaves the oven open for sides and everyone pitches in. It is the absolute BEST!!

It's a toss up for me.  Love Christmas because of the meaning.....Christ's birthday and the music and beautiful decorations.  But Thanksgiving is important, too, because of celebrating all of our Blessings, family, food, football w/out all the stress of gift exchanging.  I like that part, too, but it is exhausting.

Could include your birthday, anniversary or another day that is special to you also.

Christmas Day. Christmas Eve was always the best time with Family and Friends. I did a lot of decorating.

New Year's Eve. Not because of parties or going out which I don't do but because I am thankful to have gotten through another year and hope in the new year I'll finally get it right.

Thanksgiving--too much food and I give thanks every day of my life.

July 4th.  It doesn't involved spending tons of money!!

I love this holiday too. I love celebrating the greatest country in the history of the world. I love the long warm days. I love fireworks and the whole family being together (my mom's birthday is on the 3rd). When my son was little, I loved that summer vacation still had two months left to have him home and spend time with!

Man, this makes me want summer!
