Love Christmas music - some of my faves:
"A Cradle in Bethlehem"
"The Christmas Song"
"Mary Did You Know?"
"Song of the Stable"
"Winter Wonderland"

O Holy Night and As With Gladness Men of Old are my two big favorites. The song I dislike so much it makes me cringe is Everybody's Waiting for the Man with the Bag (I don't know its real title). I really cannot stand that song (or the singer, whoever she is) at any price. One thing I really miss is a good, old-fashioned carol service. They seem to be so rare these days and I think a lot of the lovely carols we enjoyed years ago are disappearing - so sad.

Oh Holy Night by Josh Groban
Have yourself a merry little Christmas by
Karen Carpenter
Feliz Navidad (makes me want to dance)

Love most Christmas songs and carols, but cannot enjoy "Step Into Christmas" or the Paul McCartney song (sorry Sir Paul, love you but not that song). I think my favorites are standards I grew up listening to and Josh G's version of Oh Holy Night.

I do love Christmas music. Some of my favourites are Good King Wencaslas, Carol of the Bells, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, Oh Holy Night. Gabriel, Some Day at Christmas, and I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day. Some I DON'T like are
Grandma Got Runover by A Reindeer, I saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus and Most Especially, Here Comes Santa Claus, because well... No I will NOT "give thanks to the Lord above 'Cause Santa Claus comes tonight." Though it does seem to sum up the season these days doesn't it.

I like Transiberian Orchestra's "Christmas Canon" and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" versions by Judy Garland and Karen Carpenter. "Away in a Manger" and "Little Drummer Boy" are also favorites of mine. I tend to like Christmas classics sung by older artists rather than remakes with current pop celebrities. My Elvis Presely Christmas CD is also a fave.
