I thought it was interesting that Stacey London basically said that Giuliana doesn't know anything about fashion.

I wondered the same thing about Stacy London. Like, where did she come from??? But, she did say that she was a "fashion editor" ?????

They all said that Joan could say things that nobody else could say, and get away with it, just because she was "Joan"..... I agree. Giuliana is not a comedian by any stretch. Kathy??? I'm not sure she's a good fit for FP... I find her funny when she's with Anderson Cooper and they speak off the cuff but otherwise, I can take her or leave her. Sometimes she goes too far. I also don't think she should be wearing sleeveless dresses. Flabby arms are not attractive......

Stacy London used to be a stylist. She said that this morning on The View.

I think Kelly is mad and threatening to quit because somehow she was implicated in this mess and said she doesn't condone racism. Kelly's spelling skills leave a lot to be desired but I digress.

I have seen what was said on The View this morning and I'm sorry but I don't understand the hypocrisy. If it would have been okay for Joan to make the joke, it should be okay for G to make the joke. The fact of the matter is, it's not okay for anyone to say something like that. I don't care who you are. Racist is racist regardless of who it's coming from.

Kelly was laughing at G's comment very loudly as I remember. If she doesn't condone stereotyping, then she shouldn't encourage it with laughter.

Kelly wasn't laughing. She looked stunned actually. They replayed the whole thing on The Talk today.

Weird that Kelly is threatening to quit her job because of what G said. It had nothing to do with her. It doesn't make sense.

Did she ever threaten to quit over something that Joan had said? Seems like she laughed at almost everything Joan had to say.

Sharon O said on the Talk, people were blaming Kelly as a conspirator. They said she made remarks and was laughing. (neither is true)

But why would she feel the need to threaten to quit a paying job if she didn't say anything wrong? After playing the tape, everyone would see who said what.

If Joan had said something similar, I doubt if she'd threaten to quit over it.

It could have been a knee jerk reaction to some ugly responses from the public. Possibly she wants an out from the show as she sees this ship is sinking fast.

Kelly did not laugh at that comment but Kathy and Brad did. Kelly had a stunned look on her face after G made the comment.

I thought she did, but then she was cackling at everything throughout the whole show, so maybe she didn't laugh at this particular comment. I'll have to watch again, if I can stand it to get everyone's take on what G said. What did Kathy do?

I remember when Giuliana was a minor player on E reporting the news. She was always going on and on about George Clooney. It was silly and got old. This is mean, I know, but she looks very much like ET.

I really like Kathy. She is no more risque than Joan was.

I remember G chasing after Clooney on the Red Carpet trying to speak Italian to his then girlfriend Elizabeth Canalis. It was really creepy. Frankly, I don't think she' s qualified to talk about fashion. Kathy is less risque than Joan on the show but she just doesn't seem comfortable. I think it's partly because Giuliana tries to take over.

It's always a victory for me when I remember why I entered a room.

Guiliana and Kelly irked me by their snickering and put downs of Brad on his pronunciation of Louis Vuitton. He pronounced it correctly. They are the ones who were incorrect. It's a French name. Guiliana had that pointed out to her, and she said well, we're in America now. No, you pronounce names correctly no matter what their origin. Her maiden name is Italian. I wonder if she would like to have it mispronounced (Diepandeye?) Don't think so.

When I watched the show and heard the comment, racism didn't even cross my mind. As soon as she said patchouli oil I immediately thought she was referring to her hair style in a bohemian sense. When I think of bohemian, I think of the Grateful Dead. I have been to over 100 of their concerts and this look of hair is very prevalent there. Long dreads/braids. BTW, every Grateful Dead concert I have been to is majority white in race.

When I heard the controversy the next day, I did understand it but I really think Guiliana meant it in a bohemian way and if anyone has ever been to a GD show, you know it smells completely like patchouli and weed.

I think Kelly could have had G's back a little more and not been such a drama queen. Though I don't know if she felt there was something bigger there or she just felt she was getting accused of something.

I do think Kelly and G have gotten a lot more snarky since Joan left. I don't know if they feel they have to step it up or what but it isn't a good look on them. Someone has to be the straight guy. I do like the addition of Brad, he is pretty good.

If Joan would have said the same exact thing, I think it wouldn't have even been mentioned but since Guiliana was always the sweet one, it doesn't work.
