I think Kelly is mad and threatening to quit because somehow she was implicated in this mess and said she doesn't condone racism. Kelly's spelling skills leave a lot to be desired but I digress.

I have seen what was said on The View this morning and I'm sorry but I don't understand the hypocrisy. If it would have been okay for Joan to make the joke, it should be okay for G to make the joke. The fact of the matter is, it's not okay for anyone to say something like that. I don't care who you are. Racist is racist regardless of who it's coming from.

I watched it yesterday, but my recording cut off just before they brought out the 'worst dressed' , so I found another airing to record with a buffer at the end this time. gack!

Anyway, I thought that Giuliana's dress and Kathy's dress were both very lovely. As for the best-dressed, I was like some of the others on the panel (not that I'm a fashion plate or anything, as I'm NOT) in that the lady named Rosamund had THE best dress. I don't even know who she is, but that dress was killer.

As for the 'skinny G' thing - I cannot help but wonder, especially after reading numerous threads ripping her apart for being so thin, how people would react if they were discussing a fat person and going on and on (as I've seen in some of these threads) about how fat s/hey is and how unhealthy that is and how they need some diet pills and a stationary bike and blah blah freaking blah.

Honestly, I wonder how that would go over. (just thinking) This is something that seemed so blatant when I read these numerous threads saying so much awful stuff about how thin Giuliana is and I cannot imagine people getting away with discussing how fat somebody else is. I'm really not a fan or anything. I just like to think that maybe people would think about all the stuff they say about people and how they would feel if it hit closer to home for them.

I thought it was interesting that Stacey London basically said that Giuliana doesn't know anything about fashion.

I wondered the same thing about Stacy London. Like, where did she come from??? But, she did say that she was a "fashion editor" ?????

They all said that Joan could say things that nobody else could say, and get away with it, just because she was "Joan"..... I agree. Giuliana is not a comedian by any stretch. Kathy??? I'm not sure she's a good fit for FP... I find her funny when she's with Anderson Cooper and they speak off the cuff but otherwise, I can take her or leave her. Sometimes she goes too far. I also don't think she should be wearing sleeveless dresses. Flabby arms are not attractive......

Kelly was laughing at G's comment very loudly as I remember. If she doesn't condone stereotyping, then she shouldn't encourage it with laughter.

I heard Kelly laughing so much during the entire show that I honestly couldn't remember if she was laughing when G said that or not. I changed the channel right after it was said because at that point, I'd had enough.

Kelly did not laugh at that comment but Kathy and Brad did. Kelly had a stunned look on her face after G made the comment.

It's always a victory for me when I remember why I entered a room.

I have it on my DVR.

Kelly didn't laugh. Brad did. Kathy made the comment that weed is legal in so many states now and Giuliana agreed.

Kelly critiqued Zendaya's dress and never mentioned her hair. Brad wasn't crazy about her dress, but said he loved the "Poetic Justice braids."
