Yes they are both great women, but far from "older" 50's and 60's are not so old these days.

I admire all of the women mentioned for one reason or another.
I admire our daughter who is not older but is 37.
She served as a civilian PA at AF bases and then the Pentagon; met and married her sweetheart and now has two kids.
She has always been kind, respectful and fair.

Well, considering the original topic, responses here have certainly run the gamut (old, young, dead, alive, well known, not)!

Katherine Graham for high morals and truth in journalism
Candice Bergen for holding her own and surviving being raised with a "wooden" brother that her father liked better
Katherine Hepburn for believing that all people are equal

For various reasons, in no particular order:
Diana Rigg
Gloria Steinem
Madeleine Albright
Hillary Clinton
Wendy Sherman
Meryl Streep
Michelle Obama
Coco Chanel
and those three NASA women mathematicians who were the subject of the movie "Hidden Figures": Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughn, and Mary Jackson.
Me
and a few of our fellow posters but since I don't know their ages, I wouldn't want to assume they are "older"
