It is a risk, but so is driving and having an automobile accident or any number of other things that can happen.  The families of the 100,000+ that have died in a short period of time, not to mention the hundreds of thousands of others that are seriously ill with the virus may have a different opinion.

Just because persons have been in close contact, hugging haven't symptoms doesn't mean they aren't asymptomatic and spreading it to innocent others.

 

What's being asked is inconvenient, disappointing, perhaps boring and depressing but it isn't physically painful. We aren't asked to give up a kidney or our first born. 

 

Maybe some don't care if they inadvertently sicken or cause the death of a stranger but I and selfless others do.

In reference to her comment that people are safer outdoors, whether they're social distancing or not. . .and that she would definitely accept an outdoor invitation:

@QueenDanceALot @Everything is reopening but what has changed?We still have no vaccine or treatments for this virus.I think it is a safer decision tha t you have made to wait longer to see the outcome.
