My niece's husband is in our area for two weeks training for his new job. Instead of flying home for the long weekend, she and their 2 1/2 year old baby came up here instead. This is the first time they've been up to visit. They are in their mid 30's. she and I are very close.
They arrived Thursday night and are going back on Tuesday. They are staying with us and we've been having a great time.
Today she asked what I'd think about watching the baby for them after he went to sleep and them going out for a couple of hours for drinks and to catch up. I said sure. They left around 10pm.
Does anyone think this was rude or inappropriate of them?
