You must not be at the actual website, @goldensrbest. 🤷‍♀️

We tried it briefly.  Some of the meals were quite good but we definitely had clinkers, too.

Has anyone used this meal service? My sister-in-law was telling me about it this evening. They used it while she was recovering from a broken leg. They liked it.

After my vascular surgery we tried it. It was simply awful.😢 The calories were high and no matter what I ordered it tasted fatty and salty to me. I prefer Stouffers Lean Cuisine or regular Stouffers to anything I ever had from Factor @monicakm .

I subscribed to Factor about 3 weeks last summer.  First I found the website difficult to use and immediately noticed that the things I liked best were much more expensive than the standard plan.

Every item I received seemed to contain plain broccoli and I think, with very few exceptions, was heavily flavored with garlic.  This made them all taste about the same.  I was totally bored with the food after two weeks.   It took me another week to get it stopped.  I have no desire to go back to Factor.

If I were to try another food service, it would be the one that follows a Mediterranean diet.

The meals were definitely not large enough for two servings.

I don't consider myself to be a big eater, @Kachina624, but I couldn't make two meals out of one either.

Re: Factor prepared meals delivery service

Hey ladies, I'm not trying to make one meal stretch for two people. I didn't find the website difficult, I think there was one time I had to go back and make sure I selected something correctly. We're just trying dinner for 5 days at 50% off. I did notice that the better meals were more  expensive.

If you like the service, @monicakm, you can cancel and get offers to come back.

@monicakm  I love the ease of getting meals delivered for me.

I love to cook, but my husband and I eat entirely differently.  So I cook for him and someone prepares my meals for me.

I do cook for myself, but I like the selections, but mostly the nutritional ingredients that I probably would have a hard time finding.

I can swap meals if the ingredients for a certain dish doesn't sound appealing.  They give you about 4/5 different choices.

You can also skip one week, two weeks, maybe more.  You don't have to commit to breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Mine come well packed, everything is eco-friendly, recyclable and re-usable (boxes, freezer packs, containers, etc.).

It truly does make life easier!

Re: Factor prepared meals delivery service

Thank you @Lucky Charm.  I'll look into that company.  When I told my husband I ordered 5 days of dinner meals, he said "it's just tv dinners" Smiley Surprised  He still "lives to eat".  I stopped that years ago and now "eat to live".  The man even hallucinates about food.  When he was out of it after surgery, he kept trying to get out of bed to "check on his roast" smh

My niece (in the past) and two of my co-workers order from Factor.

They enjoy the meals.

I was considering ordering myself but, I have decided to wait a bit.

Thank you for the recommendation @Lucky Charm . I'll give Sakara a look.

My husband I also eat very different diets. To him a meal isn't a meal without a large block of red meat. I'm a beans-and-veggies person. Since he retired I struggle with cooking two sets of meals every day. For myself I stock lots of Amy's frozen meals but the selection is limited. So I've been looking into prepared meals for myself.
