Factor prepared meals delivery service

Has anyone used this meal service? My sister-in-law was telling me about it this evening. They used it while she was recovering from a broken leg. They liked it.

My son and DIL ordered from the Factor when their kitchen was being remodeled. They said the food was very good. You can choose from different plans. They were following the Keto diet.

You may want to google "Factor meals reviews reddit." There are lots of reviews on reddit plus discussions of the pros and cons.

@AuntMame

Well I've already placed an order. We're just doing dinner Mondays through Friday. I got 50% off for my first order. So we'll see if we like it and if we think it's worth the cost after the first week.  But I will Google them and check them out on Reddit.

Do you report back and tell us if you like it. I've been considering meal-delivery services but haven't found the courage to actually sign up for any of them yet.

@monicakm   No I haven't tried it but it shows up in my inbox weekly. I assume it's more expensive than purchasing your own groceries. If your sister in law couldn't get out or cook, I can see its convenience.

@monicakm   Let us know what you think. We're attempting to clear out our large walk in pantry, so it may be a good idea to only have what's needed for each meal.

Re: Factor prepared meals delivery service

We did Factor and really enjoyed them. We tried the prepared meals and also tried those that send the meal ingredients with prep instructions. I liked having both on hand so that we could decide based on the day/time we had to 'fix' dinner. We just talked about this last week, I think we are going to start ordering them for use when are on the road to make life easier those nights.

A walking buddy tried them when movement was an issue.  The flavor was good.

Lots of salt and fat.  Just for them, the portions were large enough for two meals.

Gave them up since other things like salads still were needed.
