Faces in the Super Bowl stands

[ Edited ]

Anyone go to the Super Bowl as a cardboard spacer?

interesting that there were more of them than of live fans, but the cheering sounded as loud as an ordinary.

I thought is was interesting that you could pay $100 to be there as a virtual fan, but it didn't appear they had the person's name on it.  There was some sort of writing on them, but it appeared to be all the same.

$100 a seat....really NFL?  All vacant seating should have been filled with cardboard Drs. & nurses for free, besides the 7500 that were there live.

The money paid for the cardboard spacers went to charity.

Lots of people have worked as hard with equal risk as doctors and nurses for a lot less money. Honering some while not others is unfair.

The cutout fee went to charity and like a lot of college and pro sports, the noise and cheering is piped in for effect.

Did any of the cut-outs feature a dog?  At the figure skating competitions, cut-outs featuring dogs are shown in the seats.  I like the idea that a dog would enjoy attending a sporting event.

I've also seen cats "attend" the ice skating events.
