I don't post much on there anyway.  I keep constantly (sometimes 2 times a day) a little blip on my laptop telling me I should tell my friends what I've been up to on facebook.  I just delete it.  Ugh!

I have friends that post everything on there.  It's crazy.

I would suggest that we not post anything personal on Facebook until we see what happens with Mark Zuckerberg, who is in hiding.

@LilacTree  Why?  I know my info it out there... unless you have something to hide, I am not fearful of Facebook or anything for that matter...    and you do not have to be on Facebook to have your personal info sold and traded... everyone does it.. banks, insurance..... even the grocery store.

@SeaMaiden

Your choice of course.

My sister does that and it drives me crazy---if we are at the movies, having lunch/dinner at a restaurant, shopping she has to post it....she's really addicted......

I don't have a problem with Facebook or Mark Zuckerberg.  All social media platforms are vulnerable in today's world.

I'm considering just deleting the whole thing, I read that it's not easy, we'll see.

@Spurt   Yes... false birthdays... and give no personal info.... that is fine.....   But just  search  your name on google   your name alone  gives someone everything about you including your home address and what you paid for your home and what taxes you pay.....  EVERYTHING  is out there on everyone if you do anything on the internet or even if you do not have a computer.  It does not matter. You can not stop your information from being sold  or looked at by strangers no matter how careful you think you are.
