I have a facebook account, but use it only to read some things as well as sell on Marketplace.  I have no friends and have never friended anyone nor have I ever made a comment on Facebook.

When every I log into facebook a specificpage pops us, that is not my profile page.  Does anyone know why this page and can you tell me how to have a specific page...like my profile page, open up when I log into facebook?  Thanks

Click on your name in the upper right, and you'll be on your profile page. You can bookmark that, and delete the other. I don't know what page you've been landing on, maybe you bookmarked a page that no longer exists.

If you want to see your news feed, click the little house icon that's to the left of center on the same row as your name. The URL of the news feed is facebook dot com.

@Caffeina   Someone else's facebook page is what opens when I go to facebook!  I have no idea how it happened.  I tried following instructions but my name was not in the location you suggested.

It is just sort of freaking me out....

I just deactivated my account and will reactivate tomorrow.  I don't really use facebook much so going with out if for a day will be ok.

when i open my facebook page it goes straight to my facebook feed. if i want to see just my own profile page i click on my photo. i bet you are seeing your facebook feed page initially.

@Mom2Dogs    you sell on Marketplace? I buy on Markerplace. I love that Place. We flip houses and I've gotten some great buys there. Bathroom Vanities (New) and everything else. Wow!!!

Hope someone here can help you but I'm so taken up with you selling on Marketplace. My favorite place.

Are you sure it’s not your Facebook feed that is your opening page? That is the default. I’ve never checked to see if there are other options because I go to FB to see my feed, not my own profile page.

@sunshine45   @bikerbabe   It definitely was not a news feed - it was someone facebook page!  I have no idea how it happened but I ended up clearning my history, and restarting.  I took a look at facebook and lo and behold..everything was back to normal!! I use facebook so little I don't even know what the 'news feed' is, ha, ha!  Is it actual news from different sources?
