Facebook - You Can Check to See if Your Info Was Compromised

Apparently there is a digital app called, "This is Your Digital Life" and if you didn't use that on FB, your info wasn't harvested.

I just checked mine and I'm in the clear.

If you want to check yours, just google "This is your digital life." Links will come up showing you how to check.

I've never used any of the FB apps because they always warn you before you access them, that they will have access to data.

I got a message that one of my friends used the app and they now have my info.

Isn't FB supposed to notify users if there account info stolen by Cambridge Analytica? I don't trust any of those apps.

I agree. They said they would notify us. I wouldn't go to a website to check. I would be leery of that.

Yes I got a notification on my screen as soon as I signed in.

From what I can tell, if one of your friends did the quiz, it pulls their info and all their friends.

I defroended myself a few years ago. So i guess, i wouldnt have been compromised. But my husband goes on there .makes me mad

Zuckerberg sold as much info as he could without the app, I'm sure. I hope he is sued to kingdom come.

Missy, I do have Facebook. I got the message at the top of my page. As for what info they have, It said my profile, my birthday, and anything I "liked". Other than that, I have no idea. They haven't said anything else. Reassuring huh?
