I have blocked people who I have friended or people who constantly send me friend request and I don't want to befriend them,or I just don't have my same views (constantly send me info about  political, marriage groups, and other unsavory items) that have to cut ties with.

isn't it with the log on-log off button that you can click on and when it opens up a pull down menu comes out and says about account settings. You click on that and  then you can block the people who you don't want view any longer.
