Thanks for the tip!

I use an iPad.  Any idea what I could press to get rid of the sign in thingie???

I googled but I have never been on an Ipad so I am not sure if the below is correct.

Where is Esc button on iPad?

How to trigger Escape on iPad and Mac models without an ESC key

To invoke Escape, press Command + period (.) on the keyboard. This useful system-wide synonym for Escape works across iOS, iPadOS, and macOS.

@beckyb1012

Thank you!  I never thought to google....duh......my feeble brain don't you know!

I will try it, but I do not see a command on my keyboard.  There may be no way to do it on my iPad.  I do not have a Facebook but I do check a couple of businesses that do have public pages.  I can no longer see them either.

Which is the Command key on iPad?

Command ⌘ key

Most iPad keyboard shortcuts use the Command ⌘ key, like on a Mac. If you're more familiar with a PC keyboard, the Command ⌘ key does the same thing as the Control key on a PC. Here are some common keyboard shortcuts: Command-H: Go to the Home Screen.Feb 24, 2023

I'm not sure, but I think a Command key is only available on a physical iPad keyboard, not the virtual onscreen keyboard.

I just did mine today for the first time since yesterday and they are fine as well.  I wonder if they do that from time to time to get people to sign up?   It has happened several times to me but not very often between the incidents.  Strange.

@cotton4me I tried two public facing accounts today. They have a login pop-up, but it has an X in the upper right hand corner. Use the X and the login disappears and the page can be read. I was able to see the information that had been blocked. Good luck to you.

Thanks @On It .  I discovered the same thing with the X.  I don't know why I didn't notice or try that earlier.  It works!

It wasn't there initially. They just added it in the past couple of days. I have been traveling and don't know exactly when it was done. When you made your initial post we were locked out.

My "You registered with a fake name" suspension notice has disappeared and everything is back to normal.

No idea how.
