Anyone have any creative ideas to use our face masks. I had bought some really cool ones and they weren't cheap so I hate to just toss them when I am through.

The New Yorker magazine has a "humorous" article on alternative uses for face masks."

I have no plans to get rid of my face masks. I have been vaccinated since Febuary and still wear my mask when I go into a store.  With so many people still not vaccinated or refuse to get vaccinated or who may be untruthful about their vaccination status I choose to remain cautious. I am sure there or many others who feel the same way. I was at Home Depot yesterday 6/22 and wore my mask. There were people there with and without masks.

I still wear a mask in certain situations, but when I feel they really are no longer necessary, I plan to keep them.

JMHO, but I don't think we'll be waiting 100 years before the next pandemic. There's a good possibility we may need masks again.

Stash them away to use or share when the next (worse) thing comes along.

I still wear mine when I go grocery shopping, etc.  Most people where I live still wear them in stores.  We may need masks again in the future as new diseases and viruses emerge.  I like to be prepared for all types of emergencies, be it storms or illness.

I never invested more than I had to for a mask. Most of mine have already been tossed. If I go to a medical facility they hand me one of their masks, so I don't need to carry one anymore. Yay!

Did not waste my money ",investing" in face masks.  Cute, expensive masks did nothing more than a plain paper one.  Since I don't plan on being around in a 100 years for the next pandemic.....masks are used for cleaning.

Someday, when scientists discover the center of the Universe....some people will be disappointed it is not them.

Cloth masks come in handy when plowing snow out of my driveway in the winter.

I still wear a mask when I'm at a store or other pubic place. Not even half of my state is vaccinated. I don't trust others with my health or the chance that I might carry a variant to my 90 yr old dad..
