I'm only friends with my family and a few friends on FB. Political and controversial stuff is never mentioned. I see about my friends growing kids which I enjoy as they live four hours away. See photos of the new babies of our two nieces who don't live in the area. I blocked two old friends who posted religious and political stuff. Just blocked them. So easy. You can block anything or anyone you don't like. I see more controversial and nasty stuff here on these forums.

I enjoy FB. I'm on a sports FB page, one for Jeopardy, a couple of others (one for Jade and Jasper, the GS doggos) and a strictly local one. I enjoy them.

I also keep in touch with a couple of friends this way.

If others want to pooh-pooh FB, fine. I will continue to enjoy it in my limited way.

I use it now more for a substitute Yellow Pages than for keeping up with individuals.  The businesses around here can update their FB page much quicker and easier than their websites, so I find it quite useful.

no.. i been following the story for almost 2 weeks... im sure he's in cali by now...
