@goldensrbest, I had no problem understanding your post. I did go to Amazon for more info and think they might work for the budget of some not wanting to spend a lot on wood furniture.

I also knew what you were referring to, I just ordered one from Amazon a few months ago.  It is a small, 3-drawer style that I have in my sunroom to hold odds and ends. 

I don't think it would hold up to heavy use but it serves the purpose for me.  And it wouldn't be good for heavy items.  It has a metal frame, a fake wood top, and cloth drawers.  It measures 30" tall, 17" wide, and 11" deep. And was easy to assemble.

The brand I got is "Simple Houseware" 3-drawer Night Stand Dresser, and paid about $35.00.  It comes in several colors and sizes.

I am not sure exactly what you are referring to, but I bought a couple months ago a - what I refer to as a chest of drawers.  I wanted something inexpensive for my bedroom and didn't want to invest in another piece of wood furniture.  This has fabric drawers and a hard top on it which resembes wood.  You could get this in a number of finishes and I got a wood coloring which matched my furniture pretty well.  It has eight drawers.  It had to be put together and thankfully DH was able to do it, as I am pretty well clueless with this kind of thing.  Is this what you are referring to?  I got it from amazon and it was called yitahome 8 drawer fabric desser and was $49.99.

I bought a dress by Pretty Garden on Amazon and love it. It's simple, came in several colors and there are options with short sleeves and long sleeves.

I am not fond of fluff/puff in sleeves or the bodies of dresses but they had a few that looked good to me.

I have a pair of nightstands with the fabric drawers (photo below) and they're fine. Sturdy enough for my uses. My 15+ pound cat Slate jumps on and off the nightstands with no issues. Slightly annoying to assemble, but not too bad. And at $30 each, who can complain? Two USB charging outlets and two regular outlets on each nightstand is handy also. Is it generational furniture that you'll pass down to kids and grandkids? No. But it's fine for me.
