House arrest? Anybody else would be behind bars. I have no sympathy for him.

I wonder what his parents' attitude is.  They probably came up with bail in one way or another.

Depression?  Well, I'd be depressed too, facing prison.  OMG now he's going to do the "poor me" thing?

The poor thing can't go to prison since he's a vegan.  So he says!

He will be under house arrest at his parent's home in California. Maybe he can get better food and softer blankets there. Bet the housekeeper will make sure he has everything he needs.  It's such a hard life. Anyone else would still be behind bars.

In a few years he will be featured on the show American Greed.  Parents must be proud.  Smart guy with a whole life ahead of him that could have done good by others and he is nothing to be admired.  Should be put away where he cannot do anymore harm.

I know his father quit his job as an attorney at Stanford so maybe he is his lawyer; how many conflicts of interest can you think of?

The parent's house (purchased with FTX customer funds?) was used as collateral...no money exchanged. Privileged much?

Apparently no money actually changed hands.  It's not "bail" - he simply signed a promissary note.
