A good read, at this time of the year, especially.

I posted in another forum, but, this might be a better place for feedback.

I know I've been guilty of walking into a store, seeing a "buy 3, get 3 free" promotion, and thinking "woohooo, what a deal!" Or seeing free shipping, over $50, and thinking "well, I might as well get a couple more things and have it ship free"

Then I realize, I don't need 6 bath products, I don't need 3, I came in to buy one; I don't need to buy a couple more things to get up to $50, I only intended to spend half of that.

Not much of a deal, if I spent 3 times what I intended to, and ended up with a bunch of stuff I didn't need and don't really want, or, if I spend twice what I intended, but, things I never meant to buy, are going to ship free.

The promotions can be very tempting, but, we do have to be careful not to get caught up in the hype.
