As a counterpoint to the many threads begun on the forums every day that spread and discuss all kinds of unhappy, mean, cruel, sad and bad news stories, I thought I'd try starting a thread for people to post all sorts of "feelgood" stories - animals, people, instititions, countries, you name it. I could be wrong, but I have a feeling there are enough people interested in reading happy stories to keep such a thread going.

Yesterday we had a thread on how a father made his son who is in a wheel chair the most awesome costume just to name one. But in the spirit of this thread I saw that  teenagers were carrying a casket for a Veteran who had no family left. I never see these bad teenagers he news has on. Most teens I know are so nice.

Thanks for thinking of the thread I put up yesterday about those making wheelchair 'costumes' for disabled kids Smiley Happy

I try to put up positive news when I see it, I agree with moonchilde that it's a good thing for this board Smiley Happy

This is a feel good pic for me, trick or treating at the WH.

It looks so festive, and I agree that Baby Pope is cute!

More Halloween good news:

I just noticed the photo above has teal pumpkins.  That means they offer special treats for kids with food allergies, nut free and toys.

right now all i can think of is it is halloween and we are expecting over 200 little ones tonight trick or treating.  they are so cute and we really enjoy seeing them every year.  extra special this year, we have a neighbor who is suffering from cancer and many are taking up a collection for he and his family.  we are lucky that we live in such a great little community!
