Multiple individuals involved seems motive may be something other than mental illness.
If you get multiple individuals with a form of mental illness united together in a cause, they can create chaos. Multiple climate activists ran onto the eighteenth green of the golf tournament yesterday throwing paint and being morons. Normal, sane people don't do things like that. No one watching that is going to say, "Oh yes. We should do something. Thanks for bringing that to our attention." Uh, no.
Convince those same people that setting forest fires and wildfires will convince people the climate is in crisis, the world's on fire, and they'll be off running into the woods with books of matches to start fires.
They deface famous works of art. They glue themselves to roads and runways. They throw paint on ancient monuments, planes, buildings, etc. They interrupt sporting events. Is it so hard to imagine they'd set fires to prove "the world's on fire!" Normal, sane people would never do things like that, but these aren't normal, sane people.

This is a screen shot from the Watch Duty app. Read the information on the right side of the page. They are referring to the burned areas as a crime scene.

It isn't a popular opinion but, as far as I'm concerned, I don't care who they are or how old they are, they should be apprehended and peeled like grapes.
But that's just me.

And one of the charges should be attempted murder! Vile human beings.
I think it will be murder. Since the crime is Federal, it is my understanding that because there was a death as a result of the arson which is a felony, the charge is murder. There are two dead. Dogs are searching rubble to locate others. Hopefully, there will be none.

And use historic, taxpayer maintained buildings as toilets, while bludgeoning and gassing police officers and hunting down public servants.
The "mentally ill" climate people who interrupted a golf game for 15 minutes are the least of our worries.

29 people are missing. Authorities, family, and various services have not been able to locate them. I wish to remain positive. They could be there. There is no internet in most areas. Cell phone service for the most part has just restored, so maybe they can reach out now.
