One of my brothers lives near there.

He has not had any phone service at all.  The police lines were down as of last night too.

It's a very upsetting situation for all.  I just don't know what to make of anything anymore.

I just turned on the news, so I don't know much, but the banner says that the "significant" explosion was " intentional".

It was in front of the AT&T building?

I don't have any information about injuries.

@Anonymous032819

Human remains were found.

My guess is that it is the remains of the bomber.

It seems they did not want to hurt people, so  what is it about.

My guess is it was a suicide and the body they found is the bomber...just wanted to go out in a "blaze of glory" so to speak.

What a mess.  It seems the warning came without enough time for people to evacuate.

I also thought the voice on that recording sounded female.

Good to know those who were injured are doing ok, along with the first responders.

I cannot imagine the feeling of being displaced.  Truly sad.

@Ladybug724  Several outlets are showing the video just before the explosion.  I can't link because of sidebars but you can try YouTube for one.

I too think that the voice sounds female.  But if elaborately planned all sorts of things can be done with a recording.

The voice on the recording was reported to be an automated female sounding one, not the voice of a real person.

@Johnnyeager   At first it sounded high-pitched male, young.  Then it seemed to have more of a female tone.

Agree recordings can be altered.

I also found there didn't seem to be much time for people to evacuate, even if they heard the warning.
