I more or less got the drift of where they were trying to go with that ad when it was new, but sorry, great butter, dumb ad. As has been noted, a cute small table but not much room for the family to gather around in the first place.

They show him in settings and conversations with another couple, and he seems pretty annoyed whenever the name GEICO is mentioned.

Is that the point? - Is he still offended by their "Even a Cave Man Can Understand It" tagline?

Hey, @LavernLuvsShoes !  I wondered about that ad, too.  I think the way you questioned it sort of answered it for me. 

I am glad someone explained the butter commercial.  Sometimes I am a bit slow, but after reading the explanation, a light bulb came on.....lol

This current commercial is so annoying. Not to mention, the supposed dining table is actually a library table, or sometimes used as a side table. It would never make a good dining table. Believe me, I've tried. Haha!

I didn't understand the commercial, and one reason is that the table doesn't look like a "dining table" to me, either.

I've never had this brand of butter, but since so many of you love it, I am going to pick some up next time I go grocery shopping and try it.

I guess I haven't watch the whole commercial enough times to get so much meaning from it. I hate commercials an. usually juat move to something else; I just knew it for Kerry gold butter (which is fabulous, by the way).

Now I am trying to just figure out the Jaguar and the handbag commercial....the brand starts with a P but that's all I know. The Jaguar one is just crazy. No car in it!

I thought the commercial might be about something Ireland related, "Kerrygold."     Like an Irish Dining Room table, traveling to Ireland, where it belongs & where the Irish have a tradition of having dinner together as family & friends.
