Expedia/hotels.com: Reputable? Experiences?

I posted yesterday about finding a hotel in Lancaster, PA for a weekend. I found a good deal for Willow Valley through Expedia/hotels.com (I think Expedia owns hotels.com??). I've never used a service like this before and am a little nervous about it. I don't want to have a horror story. It also gave me pause reading this...

"Two queen beds. Located in different buildings/portions of the property."

What does that mean? I'll be on the outskirts of the property? Lol. Does anyone have experiences with either Expedia or hotels.com? Any info is very appreciated. I hate making travel plans.
