Example of over priced shipping

I got a ring from the Q. (hadnt bought anything for months but saw this ring flipping channels and thought well I will get it).

Well it was too tight, I had to ship it back for an exchange which I hesitated on due to shipping but I like the ring.

So anyway.... Q charged over 5 bucks to ship it TO me. Well, we always use the postal service (never ups to ship) and it was ONLY 1.50 to send it back in an envelope like it was sent to me. (thats how it was too when I would buy shirts or anything light or little). Another words its cheap to ship those kinds of items so why the high shipping prices?

Yes yes I know its shipping AND handling they charge. But those envelopes are cheap. (25cents?) I know because my DH sells on ebay and buys the envelopes in bulk to ship in.

And this is why I hardly shop on the Q anymore. My friend said the same thing. She often would buy alot (monthly) but has cut back since the shipping skyrocketed.
