Mike Bettis on the weather channel just gave an example of what just one area can expect...

Ft Lauderdale will have 75-100+ mph winds for near 12+ hrs on Sunday...

I can't imagine what will be left standing after that...

No wonder why all the islands along Irma's path became decimated. The much longer duration of high winds are due to the size of Irma and the length of time it will take for the hurricane to clear from any location...
