NOPE. Been frugal since my paper route at 8 years old. Work hard/spend wisely. Buy what I need, not things I might like. This is a short version.

I have never sleep ordered. But, I have made a lot of purchases while watching QVC later at night, while I am in bed and should be sleeping. When I wake in the morning and remember what I ordered, I feel a sense of guilt. They are all things that I liked and use, but not things that I need.
I have stopped doing that. Partly because there are so many other things I want to watch in bed (some recorded) and because the whole multi host party atmosphere these days on QVC just turns me off.
My QVC purchases have slowed down and I hope to keep it that way.

No but I "drug ordered" one time when I was in the hospital. Back in 2001. I was there four days. I was hooked on the shopping channels especially jewelry on Shop NBC. I was on narcotics for pain. I remember trying to get the housekeeping lady, the dietary aide who brought my meals, the nurses, any live body to "go in with me" on expensive purchases.
When I got home, little packages started arriving. Jewelry to this day I don't remember ordering.
Of course I returned everything. Narcotics and a credit card don't mix.

No, I 've never done that. I am a night owl, so I m usually up late into the night/morning.
I don't buy things on a whim. It took a while, but I 100% have a handle on casual spending. I just don't do it.
This past year, I replaced the flooring on my second floor....cost me a small fortune. And I ordered new LR furniture. ( La z boy sofa and chairs...will be here on Friday. Custom order took exactly 4 weeks to the very day, not 4 months as QVC says when they sell recliners)
I hope I am done spending for a while. I need to build up my savings after all of that.

Now this car person! I started my "wheelin/dealin" on my very first ordered new car. Went from Salesman to Sales Manager, to Company Owner.
Only took that long duration 1st purchase(I was 20) from that dealer. Ordered 1960/1961/1962, selling each car myself for more than I paid for them a year later.
First was my T-Bird, the next 2 were BIG Engine Drag Race Cars. Very little haggling over price after ordering my '60 T-Bird.
Even got dealer cost on all parts I bought for all my cars. Skipped 1963 and bought 1964/1965/1967/1970, all from the same dealer. My '70 Mustang Mach I(ordered)was my last new car for a lot of years, mainly because I had quit Auto Racing(cost to many $$$$), and took up racing with my feet, in Road Runs.
Still a car guy, but more a watcher, than a participant. For Real Now! =^..^=

This is a SHOPPING channel forum. There is absolutely nothing for sale on QVC that I need, but plenty of things I like, and even more that I love!
No, I never bought in my sleep, but I used to stay up all night to watch the 24 hour gold shows--what delightful fun!
I have a great and useful jewelry and fashion collection thanks partially to QVC! My husband loves the QVC Duraflame stove, his yearly holiday wine gift collection, and I swear by my Dennis Basso blankets and coats.
If one spends money on sports and activities, or new cars, or second homes, or big vacations, then that is just a different choice than buying products. Frugality is good, but as everyone says, it never hurts to treat oneself every once in a while!

I have indeed sleep ordered. It's crazy. It took me a while to figure it out. Qvc packages arrived and the clothijg items were my size and my style or kitchen items I needed I didn't remember ordering them. Nothing expensive; so I kept them. It happened three times and then, it occurred to me that I sleep shopped in the wee hours after I took my pain medication.

I never have, and I hope I never do. If that happened it would freak me out more than DH! LOL

I have never placed an order in my sleep but I have made a few impulsive buys when I am tired. It is way too easy to order something when the site offers Apple Pay.
