@Yahooey ...Yes!...I love Foster Dad John and Purrfect Pals...He is such a sweet, gentle and compassionate man...He and Shelly always supported each other and their rescues...I always enjoyed when he would visit Shelly and attend the fund-raising galas....He has been fostering for about 15 years or so...He got married a couple of years ago and, if I remember correctly,  his wife is an animal behavior specialist...He took some time off and had some renovation work done on his home and updated his "Critter Room" website...I peek in every now and then. 

Did you check out the store when you voted?...They have lovely items to choose from and, of course, proceeds go towards various animal shelters.

The Shelter Challenge ends on March 15th...I sure hope John ends up doing well...There are so many wonderful rescue shelters doing amazing work!

PSA: Mama Sushi and her three 4-week old kittens arrived at TK on April 3rd. Sushi had a home, but they wanted the best for her and the kittens so TK was called. Kittens look healthy & aren’t feral.

ETA:  PSA: We have names! Nori - girl tuxie (white nose), Kobe - boy tuxie (black nose), Toro - boy cow kitten (mama mini me) :

Hi @Marp ...It is so good to see your post!...Thanks for the PSA about the adorable new family at TK...I still peek in from time to time to see what is going on, but wasn't aware of Sushi and her adorable kittens...so I logged right in as soon as I saw your post...What a beauty Mama Sushi is and I noticed that one of her kittens is totally identical to her...I went back in the timeline and forwarded to various times and saw Unka Dave with them...I love watching him with the TK rescues...so gentle and patient and they all seem to just gravitate towards him...understandably!...lol

It always makes me smile when I happen upon a post from a member of our TK family...This thread and everyone here will always hold a special place in my heart.

The new family is beautiful.  I haven't been to TK in weeks and it was nice to see the kittens.

Just starting to come around after losing my sweet Alistair early in February.  He was the last of my kitty herd and letting go was so difficult.  I had hoped he would see another Spring, but it was not to be.  He almost made 21, so had a good, long life.

The kittens are a joy to watch, and, of course, the work of TK is endless.

I saw the announcement on Instagram and went right over to meet the new Mom and babies - so nice to see kittens there again!  I peek in from time to time, but didn't really get to know the cats very well. These had a good start so they should be fun to watch them develop.  And I too love seeing Unca Dave there helping with them!

@Witchy Woman  - I am so very sorry about your Alistair, but you are right, he had a long good life with you. Just sad and hard to lose them, no matter what.

I forgot to tag you earlier, so thanks for reminding me.  My brain has not been fully plugged in for weeks.

This is the first time in many years I've been without a cat and, the last goodbye was one of the most difficult knowing there wouldn't be any more. 

However, it is fun to watch the wobbly little kittens at TK...Shelly and company are tireless in their care and concern for all cats and kittens. It really is heart warming.

((((((@Witchy Woman)))))) ...Aww, I'm so sorry about your precious Alistair...We all definitely share and understand the grief and emptiness that is left when the time comes to say goodbye... I hope that you find comfort in knowing that you gave him such a wonderful, loving home and were so blessed to have him for 21 years..The bond and love that is shared is truly immeasurable.

I know that you support your local rescue shelters and all that you so lovingly continue to do will be a loving tribute in memory of Alistair,  along with your other kitties who have crossed over the Rainbow Bridge.
