Morning all...yes, Happy Thanksgiving...hope everyone has a lovely day.
Watched the new kittens...Shelly had just given an enema to one of them She's at her best when she's getting new kittens all cleaned out -- ears and otherwise.
They seem to be adjusting and will be thriving in no time, I'm sure.

@MyShadowLove@Marp2@Yahooey@Witchy Woman@CLEM and everyone,
WOW, what a difference a couple days can make!!!
The quiet six have all turned into little scamps! They sound like a herd of elephants running up and down those stairs and I've even heard a couple mews now and then. When they play they play hard, even our precious little "bunny hop" one - they seem so happy now. What a change.
Of course they have gotten rid of fleas, worms, backed up poo and such, which I'm sure helps them all feel better. They are eating and drinking like there's no tomorrow. They're being so NORMAL, LOL!
I think Gwen and TK truly saved these kittens, they were not doing well, and the effects have been immediate. Can't wait until they get named and of course there have been lots of suggestions from the chatters!
Forgot to add, we have a wedge situation - they love the little space behind the nest and pile themselves in there to sleep!

@HerRoyaLioness....How true!...What a difference in just two days!...When we got home last night and I checked in, they were bouncing all over the place...even the precious little gray one with spinal issues was doing so much better....I hope that it doesn't turn out to be a serious issue and can be treated successfully!
I'm sure that, once they are cleared medically from anything contagious, Shelly will bring them up to Grandpaw Mason to foster and discipline....What a precious, delightful sight that would be!

@Yahooey....Sooooo Cute!!!!
I also just saw this very touching background story of where the kittens came from, so I am just going to attach it to your post for everyone to see.
Introducing… the Peanuts kittens! Fall in love with them on our 24/7 rescue livestream: TinyKittens.com/live
These six adorable kittens were loved by a caretaker who does not have a home, but did his best to care for them. One of the kittens, Linus, has partial paralysis in his back legs and needs medical care, but their caretaker was extremely concerned that if he gave us his kittens, we would euthanize them.
We have been working on building trust with him since summer ...by providing food, deworming and flea treatments, toys, blankets and carriers, in hopes that eventually we would build enough trust for him to let us help treat, spay/neuter and find loving homes for the cats and kittens in his care.
We were able to bring in a group of 8 kittens in August, and were so grateful he allowed us to take our current six a few days ago so we can get Linus the medical care he needs. We’re still working on finding a way to TNR the feral adults, but are hopeful we will be able to make it happen before kitten season starts again.
Linus has been seen by our vet, and two specialists have already been consulted. The consensus is that he needs to be seen by a neurologist and we will likely need better imaging (CT scan) for them to understand what is happening with his spine/pelvis, what treatment (if any) might be possible, and what his prognosis might be.
