According to the chatters, Patty and Sweety went to get spayed today.  Who is Sweety and is that true?

I guess the vet will be very busy over the next couple of weeks.

Okay now, let me see if I have this straight....

@Marp is taking the white kitty with the sad eyes...

@CLEM....lol....You are taking Puck, Lucy, Hale, Phoenix and a white kitty...along with one of the adult couples....Sweetie & Gabby with their three kittens....which makes a grand total of 12....lol....I think that you had better prepare Violet a little beforehand and just give her somewhat of a little hint, at least!...lol

@Yahooey...Wow, from the Big Apple to the Campgrounds!....Welcome Back!...You reminded me of many years ago when we went camping with another couple, along with their four boys....(we are Godparents to two of them).....and I'm talkin' camping with just tents....There was a slight incident with a bear stealing some food....nothing major...It happened during the middle of the night and awoke us and we all ended up having a good laugh...I never went camping again, though....only way is with a luxury camper!...lol

@Witchy Woman...Gotcha!...Don't be a stranger!...Stop by when you are in the neighborhood....Lubs Ya!

@MyShadowLove  I did not even count how many I am taking, but 12 sounds like a lot of them.  Together with Violet that makes 13 which is a good number for me since I live on the 13th floor.  Once I get to Vancouver, I will just rent a U-Haul and pile them all in.  Should be a fun ride back to Philadelphia, especially since I don't drive and never had a drivers license.

It just sounds great having a bunch of fluffy creatures around the house.

I don't know if Patty had her spay or anything else yesterday though.

At nine weeks old, Patty was living in a feral cat colony that was in the path of the BC wildfires. She also had a prolapsed rectum (ouch!) from parasites and poor nutrition. Thanks to amazing volunteer Dee with Pet Safe Coalition Society of Canada, Patty survived the #BCWildfires and was evacuated to us. Today, she had her spay as well as surgery to fix her rectum.

Despite her rough start, Patty is precocious, snuggly, confident and all-around ridiculously adorable. We expect her to have a full recovery with no impact on her future health or happiness.

We went camping with just tents too - mine is the small one on the right. As you can see, there were 2 mansions close by.

Kitchen was proably a bit more spiffy than yours. Waffle stick maker, cappucino system, griddle

@Yahooey  Your trip sure sounds like fun but I don't know how I would survive in a little tent without my tempurpedic bed, bathroom, etc.

@Yahooey...Yes, you can definitely say that you had a much more "spiffy" kitchen area and camping experience than we did at the time!...lol...I'm sure it felt wonderful to get out of the Big Apple for a while and enjoy the great open outdoors!...New York is such a beautiful State!...My heart will always remain there!

@CLEM...You are cracking me up!...lol...I love your fantasy, as I have the same!....That adorable wildfire colony of 13 kittens/cats is just so very precious!....They are the first colony of cats/kittens that have been brought in together, so it has proven quite fascinating to experience all of them together and to see how they interact with each other....care for each other....and the very special bond that they have together....so much so that it is going to be difficult for me to see them being separated during adoption....I would love to see Sweetie & Gabby go together with their kittens and Ellie & Elliot go together with a couple of the kittens...as well as the rest being paired up....I know that Shelly will do all she can to make sure that they are kept together also.

I just read that Patty went back to the Vet today to have her bum area checked and she is healing well....She is just too adorable for words!

And I just can't get over Grandpa Mason and how precious a sight it is to watch him with the kitttens and the important role as patriarch that he has so lovingly demonstrated...I love him so much and can't imagine TKHQ ever without him.

@Marp....Hope all is going well with the repairs on your house!....Everything must be settled by the time that precious little white kitty with the sad eyes becomes a part of your ever-growing family!

Do you know how far away Shelly allows adoptions?....I recall reading one time that she doesn't allow them too far away?

@MyShadowLove, I am still on hold with the repairs but progress is finally being made.

I don't think there isn't an absolute distance for adoptions but the travel plans have to be very specific.  For example she would not likely allow someone with very long drive and no plans on stopping overnight but someone flying a kitten to the east coast in cabin could be done.  Matter of fact she herself, along with Kimsies I think, flew two kittens to Chicago at the expense of the adopters.

She has flown to NC with Cassidy without hesitation.

I'm so sorry that your home is still under repair. I agree that you must finish renovations before your white kitten w/sad eyes arrives. Is @CLEM picking her/him up for you? Since she is heading that way to claim her 12 kittehs. I'm sure there is room for 1 wee one.

I think you might have to expand your living arrangements to accomodate your crew. I will send over the tent since I'm sure Violet is gonna send you to the dog (kitten) house. She is gonna be like Puff Puff who does not like to share her meowmy. BTW, I don't rough it, the campsite has very clean bathrooms and showers. Some showers are individual lock rooms. The Jellystone Campsite is very lux since they are charging me $80/night per site. Each site accomodates 1 car, tent and 4 people. Their lowest priced cabin is under $200/night. Min of 3 nights. I do not rough it at all, true campers laugh at me.

How is it that this cam has the most kittehs and I can't find any of them except tor the one on the blanket?

@Yahooey  I love the pictures you post of the kittens.  How do you load them on the computer??  I have that Tracphone that the Q sold a couple of months ago and it takes really great pictures, but I don't have a clue as to get them on the computer.

That camp site actually sounds like something I would like or better the cabins.  I am glad you had a great time.
