I've wanted to throw this out to many people. Something I've given a fair amount of thought to since working in the medical field.
I don't think there's a right or wrong answer. But, I'd like to learn something.
Do you think ANY amount of money, however great, should be spent on a single person? Or do you think money should be considered when deciding upon treatment options?
Should we consider ourselves with limited resources and look of the cost/benefit ratio? Or should we say any cost for a life?
I've not worked with children. However, this can come into play with this question. Should we be willing to spend any amount of money for any amount of time for one child?
I've wondered what others thought. I have gone round and round in my own mind about this.
Thanks,
Hyacinth
