I haven't watched the show in the last several seasons. I think they really need to change the name. But if they changed it to Dancing with the Has Beens or Dancing with Pseudo- Stars, there probably wouldn't be much of a draw.

I have no opinion about Erin, but based on the negative replies on this thread, I feel that she is going to have an uphill battle. It's not her fault that they decided to replace Brooke. I do wish her well in her new position, though. She doesn't have a huge role in the show, so hopefully viewers who don't like her can overlook the few minutes she's on the air.

I am sort of ambivalent about Brooke. Nothing against her, but I have thought for a while that her job was obsolete. One host is enough. If they eliminated the position (to save money or for whatever reason) I would understand. Not sure I understand replacing her.

I think Marie Osmond would be fun to watch in the co-host role.

I really don't care one way or the other about Brooke Burke, but rather her than Erin Andrews and most certainly NOT Marie Osmond - Yuck!

Robot Brooke was bad but Andrews has a voice that is worse than nails on a blackboard!! Her nose looks like a weiner and is very distracting!

Tom Bergeron is the best part of the show. Very funny. However, since the Voice came on the scene, I watch it, and usually either skip Dancing or I watch On Demand later, if this board hints that some dance is really good. Gee, I wonder why they didn't bring in Bristol for the hostess job. Isn't it time she made yet another appearance just before election season begins?

I don't like Erin Andrews. At this point, don't think a co-host is needed, since they are just doing one show a week, but I wish they had kept Brooke. As for firing the band, supposedly they will have a small band to attract a younger audience. I read that last season the show was attracting an older audience, which the powers that be didn't like at all, so they made changes. As usual anyone over 50 is not who they want watching their shows.
