Email From QVC ( not the one you think)

Last week I got an email that stated we are refunding your money on your purchase you returned. The thing is I didn't send the item back but had a credit from QVC on my Visa card for $100. I knew it was an error on QVC's part and called them to alert them of their error. I asked how could this have happened, she said it may have been a glitch in the system.

Wow!  I've never experienced a glitch work in my favor lol.  It was very kind and honest of you to let them know what happened.😊💝

@Jordan2 - they should give you the $100 for honesty.

I don't think people should have to be rewarded for being honest.

I think if QVC realized their error, you can be prosecuted for keeping the funds, it isn't worth the chance of getting caught. I also believe in karma, keeping the money would have weighed on me and I would feel guilt about it.

Sometimes trying to do the right thing ends up being a hassle.

DH ordered a Honda lawnmower from Home Depot online several years ago. For some reason They shipped him 2?

DH called Home Depot so they could send out call tag for UPS to pick one of them up. They never did send out the call tag. DH kept calling them.

They wanted him to return it to Home Depot but that's a 3 hour round trip drive so DH told them no he was not doing that.

They said they could not pick it up because they cannot ship those items with oil or fuel in them. DH told them it was brand new never opened the box with no oil or fuel in it.

DH told the person he talked to if you can ship it to me like that than UPS can ship it back to Home Depot the same way?

@Jordan2 I am pretty sure you wouldn't have been prosecuted, unless it was thousands of dollars.  But they could have asked for the money back.
