@Nightowlz

So now you have me interested.  How was this finally resolved?

@Jordan2 I am pretty sure you wouldn't have been prosecuted, unless it was thousands of dollars.  But they could have asked for the money back.

Agreed....Believe it or not some people get tons of emails and might never have read it.  I'm one who rarely reads emails from QVC.

As for getting a refund, I would only see that when I'm doing my bills and may or may not have noticed & wondered about it.

I can't see how you would be persecuted when you didn't do anything wrong and was unaware of this happening over $100.00.

Re: Email From QVC ( not the one you think)

[ Edited ]

From hundreds of transactions with QVC, I had one that the Q wasn't sure they believed me.  The outcome reveals the goodness of at least one Q customer and QVC itself.

This was a while ago. I ordered a Stan Herman bathrobe and never received it.  I called the Q and asked them for a resend or a refund.  While not too gnarly, they did the refund, but clearly the CS person seemed to think I wanted a second bathrobe for nothing.  Didn't believe me.  (The bathrobe was a very fair price, not expensive--I just never got it.)

So. . I got a little frost from the CS rep but received a replacement bathrobe.  About a month later, I got another bathrobe . . . from a QVC customer, who saw that her address was not on the box, but instead in S FL.She wrapped it up and paid to send it back to me, putting in a nice note explaining she had been away when it came, and that she had not ordered it.

So I called QVC back and told them about the customer who sent it back to me and told them to recharge me. The CS was amazed and reversed my credit, charging for the robe. She said she would thank the generous customer, too.

I've returned boxes myself over the years that came to my porch without my address and with somebody else's address on it. I have always brought it over to the neighbors involved: none of my unsolicited boxes were in other towns or state, though.

. Most recently, I came back from Japan in November and found a gigantic 60 pound box on my porch, a pink Christmas tree!  I thought that one of my relatives must have won Lotto!

I wondered if it was just a weird jet-lag dream next AM (the flight back lasted 24 hrs).  But there it still was, where I had dragged it into my living room around 3AM.

A family one block over rejoiced. They have always wanted a pink Christmas tree. (I have had one for years, though it is tiny and humble). Love pink for the winter holidays in the tropics!

@San Antonio Gal  I would of done the same thing also.  Even when I'm conteplating a difficult decision I always remember what my nursing professor told me many years ago, "The right thing to do is often the hardest thing to do."

It wasn't. DH has 2 lawn mowers. We were only charged for one of them.

I know crazy. All they had to do was email DH a return label so UPS could pick it up. Pretty simple fix. DH got tired of calling them. I don't know why they could not understand it was never used the box was never opened. We only opened one of them. The first one we received & paid for.
