The elk took the walking path for themselves. People walking are crossing the street to get out of their way.

They made their way up the path to the house across the street from us. It is a short trip to relax and chew their cud.

It's like @MamaWick's deer except they are moose! Mooses?

So very neat!

Thanks for all your wonderful wildlife photos you share with us @On It!

I've never seen anything like these in the wild up close to houses and people. It's thrilling to see.

@on the bay Earlier this morning, I hear a brief siren sound like a law officer trying to get the attention of a driver. A few moments later, a "pull over right now" siren blasted momentarily. Finally, a weird surging siren sounded. I got ready to watch a car pursuit, but a State trooper drove slowly down the street.

A while after he passed our house, the elk headed by on their way to the park for breakfast. I guess he was trying to get them out of the street. They were in the park grazing for some time. However, on their departure they decided to follow traffic rules resulting in the above photos.

These guys are something else! They keep everyone entertained and on their toes.

@On It That's something else. They entertain the residents and also blend into the community at the same time
