Heartbroken over this major loss. The Congressman will be mourned by not only his constituents but also by those of us who watched as he fought to maintain our democratic norms.

you would think that those who did not respect him or did not think he did a good job for baltimore and a good job for his country would have just stayed off this thread. but of course, that did not happen. a simple rest in peace would have been sufficient if you even wanted to say something.......simple.

Elijah Cummings represented the best our country has to offer. He didn't only talk the talk but he walked the walk.He fought for the rights & dignity of all Americans. He was a true hero.

A light went out this morning with Rep Cummings passing.We will not be the same without him.Yet we're all better off because he was here.
