Hi Everyone -
The time has come to replace our old coil cooktop from 1967. It was in the house when we bought it a couple years ago.
I want to get a smooth top but looking around this weekend it was so confusing. So many choices, options etc.
Between the single burner sizes varying so much - anywhere from 6 to 12" and then the dual or tri-ring burners and then some have a powerboil burner but I'm not sure if that burner can only be used for boiling or I can use it for normal cooking too.
Any suggestions or things I should look for that you enjoy most with your cooktop or things I should avoid?
These cooktops sure are expensive and I want to make the right choice but I"m so confused!
My old coil cooktop just had 4 burners and 2 were 6" and 2 were 7 1/2".
Thanks for your help!!
