I was grocery shopping last Monday, we were still in July, and lo and behold, all the Halloween candy was out.  I can understand fall decor in craft stores but Halloween candy in July?

Just last night on our news they were talking about the dog days of summer and how they actually end August 11.  However, the prediction for our area is that summer is going to extend well past the normal end point and we are supposed to be very hot into late September and October will be warm as well.

That's what I'm hearing for where I live, too.

Actually, I think I heard that this will be the case for much of the country.

Hot, hot, hot.

It's low or mid 60s here, overcast and cool.

Our hottest months are September and October, maybe they will be cooler than usual this year, I hope so.
