SHowme: Ha ha - no I did not edit my post. But on your World Series Thread every single post I made was removed. Every single one. They would post, remain for a minute or two, and then bam! Somebody sure didn't want me there. And the same thing happened on Emma's thread about the same topic.

Even if I quoted a poster, their posts stayed but mine were gone.

I can't imagine being that hateful. Oh well. More the pity for them.

SHowme: I know you didn't - the games are always fun with no mean remarks. An edit on all my posts would have be no big deal, but the fact that the posts were removed leaves no doubt that somebody here is a webbie. And it didn't happen just on the first game; it continued on the second game.

I don't mean to butt in on your conversation, but I can't imagine any reason why posts would be deleted on a World Series thread. Good grief. I'm not doubting you, but someone must be deliberately trying to stir up trouble. I've read and participated in many baseball threads and they are very civil and good-natured, with posters merely cheering their teams on.

I totally believe you. I just can't figure out who would be doing this or why. If a post is reported, doesn't Webbie review the post before deleting it? If not, they definitely should.

Mine are as well, as are many other posters. I envision a disgruntled former poster taking it upon themselves to report posts all day long for whatever reason. Kind of a payback type of situation I imagine. Yesterday Terrier and I were reported in one particular thread and for once we weren't even disagreeing on anything!

One thing, though, Topaz, if you want to have peace; I find the other forums are far less hostile. I never get edited anywhere else but here.

That little box with an x.....is another problem they haven't fixed.......I believe this is the 3rd day for this happening.

ShowMe, go into your settings and clear your cookies, it worked for me yesterday.

Its easy, just click on setting and you will see it.

Well, hopefuly enough posters ARE sick of it and ARE contacting corperate.

do you really think that that many people are actually contacting corporate about"edits" and removal of threads? in the grand scheme of things i dont think it is THAT important to them OR to a large number of posters.

I think Webbie has the ability to put certain posters, for whatever reason, on "watch.". That would be the only reason that edit shows up on every post somebody makes.
