I think the "regular" folks here are AS bad, if not WORSE, than trolls.

I mean, trolls I get, but a regular poster saying hurtful krappe is much worse to me.

I have seen and experianced good friendships broken because of it.

The problem is, SeaGal, that the posters you see as "toxic" are the same ones others see as good, friendly posters.

And, those you see as good, friendly posters are the same ones that others see as toxic.

So, who gets banned? The ones you dislike, or the ones "they" dislike?

The only answer is to try to ignore those you don't like, to the best of your ability. It's a public board and we can't control who posts here.
